In past semesters, candidates sent their homework assignments by post to the NEAS office. As of January 2012, you may email the homework assignments to vee-hw-neas@verizon.net

Put your name, course, session and contact information in the body of the email so that we can match your email to the correct candidate. Do the homework assignments as you work through the modules, but email the entire set to NEAS at the end of the course so that it is clear you have completed the work. (You must do 80% of the homework assignments.)

The homework assignments ensure that you read the textbook. Some apply the course concepts to insurance. Some homework assignments don’t have a single “correct” answer; they check that you understand the ideas in the textbook, not that you come to the same conclusion as the course instructor.

When homework assignments are e-mailed, should they be typed in Word or can they be scanned from notebook paper, or either?

The reason I'm asking is because it may be time consuming typing the formulas in Word.

[NEAS: Scanning is fine.]
