Registration

Question: How do I register for the on-line course?

Answer: Some companies register most of their actuarial students who need to fulfill VEE requirements. This saves you effort in filling out paperwork; check with the director of the actuarial program at your company. Register by the on-line registration link on the NEAS website.

Question: How do I pay for the on-line courses?

Answer: Pay by credit card on the on-line registration screen. We use a reputable vendor (regonline) to ensure security with credit card registration.

Question: Do I get a formal transcript after I pass the exam?

Answer: Yes, we send both you and the SOA / CAS a formal transcript.

Question: I need to receive a 1098 form for my tuition payment; can I get that from you?

Answer: Yes, we send a formal receipt of tuition, as well as other documentation for tax purposes.

Question: Must I do anything else after taking the on-line course to get VEE credit?

Answer: You must fill out the required form and submit it to the SOA, and you must pay a fee. NEAS will also submit a transcript to the SOA.

Question: Do you keep records? What if the SOA wants proof that I completed the course?

Answer: We keep all homework assignments and final exams as record of your completion of the course.

Do I still need to make the SOA application even now @NEAS or does your copy sent to SOA automatically get me VEE credit for each particular requirement....need to know it's been a decade pretty much

[NEAS: SOA requires that the student apply and fill out the application. NEAS verifies passing the course requirement, just as a college transcript verifies passing the college course.]
