Updated: December 1, 2009

Question: What textbook do we use?

Answer: John Fox, Applied Regression Analysis and Generalized Linear Models (Sage Publications, 2008).

Question: Must I buy the text or does NEAS supply it?

Answer: You must purchase the textbook; NEAS supplies all additional material: illustrative questions and answer, homework problems, and explanations.

Question: Where can I get the textbook?

Answer: Many university bookstores have the text. It can also be ordered from internet booksellers, such as Barnesandnoble.com and Amazon.com. There is a new edition of this book now available. Will the old edition be most useful for the purposes of this course?

[NEAS: The third edition of Fox's textbook (March 2016) has just been published. Both the second and third editions may be used for the on-line course. We will post page numbers for the course modules using the third edition over the coming weeks.]
