When I change the values from table on page 147 to the logit values on the next page I am not getting the same answers. Can you please tell me what I am doing wrong. I am using the same formula in the book and have gotten the earlier questions correct.

I think that on page 148 the text book transforms all of the observations (not listed anywhere) and then calculates the mean. You might be trying to calculate the log of the mean value which is usually a little bit different.

Fox shows the format of the ANOVA, but he does not explain how to compute the standard errors. For his exhibit, he used R, which computes the standard errors of the log odds, but he does not show the formula for this in the text. The final exam has no questions on analysis of variance using log odds, and the homework assignment for this module has been changed.
