Pizza sales to Houston schools show extraordinary cyclicality. Some low points (summer months when school is out) are expected; other cyclical points are not obvious. Perhaps the public school regimentation accounts for some patterns. The public schools in a state often follow the same patterns, set by the state education system. The pattern is kept year after year and is followed by many schools in the city or state. This student project shows that even a complex pattern may be modeled by seasonality and ARIMA processes.
