TS sproj Kings of England

This time series project received full credit for picking a new idea and finding data to test an ARIMA process. In fact, of course, we don’t use ARIMA processes for forecasting the age of death of individuals, such as kings of England, for two reasons. First, we don’t expect serial correlation: the age of death of one king doesn’t affect the age of death of the next king. Second, ages of death of individuals are so volatile that a time series forecast is useless. But the VEE student project doesn’t have to be a realistic study. The student project shows that you can apply the statistical concepts to real data, as this candidate shows.
