are we supposed to use the provided data set for any of topics we select or just for Parameter Instability? If I decide to use the EXCEL worksheet NEAS provided, should I redo the data matrix or just change the parameters?

[NEAS: You can redo the data matrix if you understand how to do this.  If you have trouble with the Excel functions, just change the parameters.]

I have no idea what is each worksheet used for. Can anybody explain How are ResidualMatrix(Indexfunction), ResidualMatrix(VBAMacro), StableRatesData, DiscreteChange(UnstableRates), and UnstableRatesData created and what are the relationships between these worksheets? Thanks.

[NEAS: We have posted clearer instructions; see the thread on loss reserving.]

i also dont understand what i should do with each worksheet. Should I start with StableRatesData for the constant beta scenario? and then use other worksheets (ResidualMatrx(), DiscreteChange, etc.) for other scenarios? or should i be creating the other worksheets based on StableRatesData as i work my way to the rest of the scenarios?

i kinda have a rough idea of what i should do for this project from other posts but i'm not sure which worksheet i should start with and really what each of them is used for.

Can ppl who understand or have finished the project kindly give me a hand please.

thank you so much.
