I noticed that there is not a nice write up for those who are already sold on the course, but want to know "what now...?"  So I thought I would write up what I know, and hopefully someone will correct me if I get anything wrong.

About the course:

It is SELF-PACED, based on text reading, and aimed to give you enough familiarity to pass the 50 question final exam with a 70% or better in order to qualify you for the VEE credit.  The course is broken up into about 24 modules.  Each module has a downloadable pdf containing a partial summary of the chapter, some answers to questions not fully covered in the text, some homework, and some sample solutions to problems similar to the homework.  You find the module that you are on in the bulletin board, complete the reading and homework.  You sit down in a proctored environment at the end of the session and take a paper/pencil closed book exam.  You do not recieve credit until you pay the registration fee and send in all your homework by mail.  You may complete the entire course without paying.  You pay to have your work graded and receive credit.

You may retake the course as many times as necessary to pass.  You must register each time you intend to take the exam.  However, you only need to pay the registration fee once.  If you prefer not to take the exam during the session that you are registered, you may defer taking it to a subsequent session by e-mailing NEAS.
