Course Schedule

Updated: December 1, 2009

Question: Must I access the internet at a specific time for the on-line courses?

Answer: All material is posted on the discussion forums: textbooks, explanations, practice problems, homework assignments, and questions. We give you a recommended schedule of 24 modules, but you can choose to do the work earlier or later. To receive credit, you must pass the final exam with a grade of 70% or better and complete at least 80% of the homework assignments. The regression analysis and time series course also require a completed student project.

Question: Does the course require candidates to participate in a pre-determined class structure and time, or can I go at my own pace? Is this course 3 times a week at fixed times, or can I choose times that fit my schedule, such as several hours on weekends?

Answer: There is no fixed time schedule; you can arrange your own study times.

Question: I live overseas (e.g., China, India, Poland, Singapore, Hong Kong); can I still take the on-line VEE courses?

Answer: As long as you have internet access, you should have no problem. The course work is done at the time you choose; you need not be available at a given time.
